Flood the Desert: July 4 -A Day of Water Justice and Blessing

On Saturday, July 2, Tucson Samaritans will commemorate 13 years of humanitarian service on the Arizona Desert. We will flood the desert with volunteers and vehicles to offer emergency assistance to anyone in need of food, water, and medical care. Caravans will leave Southside Presbyterian Church (317 W. 23rd St) starting at 6:30 a.m. Routes have been mapped for 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive vehicles, and supplies will be provided. We will have a Samaritan sign for each car. Anyone who values human life and wants to offer humanitarian aid is welcome to participate. Participants should bring drinking water and snacks/lunch for themselves. Volunteers are asked to RSVP to kathryn.ferguson1@gmail.com. Questions? Call 520-549-8903 or email sam.southside@gmail.com.
