This course encourages and helps with end-of-life planning well ahead of the event. The course includes such things as elder law (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.), funeral arrangements (with a representative from a funeral home talking about options, arrangements, etc.), emotional preparation for end-of-life, input on a person’s own memorial service, and so on. The course has been well-received at Northminster, and we are glad to share it with others.
The course will next be offered on November 12, and again on November 19, probably running from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. If churches or individuals would like to attend, they’re welcome. There will be a light lunch and a donation bucket for anyone who wants to help with the cost of the food. If anyone would like us to help them establish their own version of this course, RE Russ Amling, whose vision and experience led to this course.
