Seeks Childcare Worker

Seeking a responsible adult to provide child care. Part-time hours include Sunday mornings and occasional weekdays. Gracious work environment and generous wage. Qualified applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Pass a background-check, including fingerprinting
  • Have prior experience caring safely for babies and children
  • Complete our safety-training program
  • Work from 9:45 to 11:15 on Sunday mornings
  • Work occasional other times as needed
  • Have reliable transportation to far northwest Tucson
  • Arrive punctually
  • Interact safely and positively with children
  • Communicate fully and honestly with supervisors
  • Take direction from supervisors
  • Interact appropriately with parents and families of children
  • Maintain clean and well-organized work environments
  • Have easy access to communication technologies

 Additional, desirable qualifications include:

  • Open-minded Christian background
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Residence in Northwest Tucson

Westminster Presbyterian, Santa Fe seeks a Half Time Head of Staff Transitional Pastor, responsible for:

–  Preaching minimum of twice per month (three times in 5 Sunday months)
–  Moderating Session
–  Overseeing the work of the Office Manager and day to day care of church
–  Working with Worship, Building & Grounds, Money Care, IT, Personnel, and Nominating Committees
–  Representing WPC at Presbytery and other local ministerial groups
–  Working with Associate Transitional Pastor for Pastoral Care and Education as a team
–  Familiarity with the interim process and/or willing to take the training

Half Time Transitional Associate Minister of Pastoral Care, Outreach, & Education, responsible for:

  • –  Pastoral care in coordination with the Deacons – including visitation of members, sick, and/or by request of parishioners
  • – Working with Missio Dei, Santa Fe Need and Deed, Christian Education, and ELL programs of the church, as well as the Fellowship Committee
  • –  Lining up Adult Forums and possibly teaching some
  • –  Sharing preaching as needed
  • – Working with Head of Staff Transitional Pastor as a team

Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley, AZ (three positions)

is seeking an emotionally strong, genuine, compassionate, intuitive and mission driven individual to work with families at the time of their loved one’s death regarding end-of-life decisions for organ and tissue donation. This Donation and Family Advocate must possess courage to walk into extremely challenging and uncomfortable situations and be motivated to confidently explore donation with families at their most devastating time of loss. These conversations take place mainly in person but sometimes on the phone.
